This may not seem like a big deal to most of you but I haven't volunteered in ages and been wanting to do something more 'meaningful' for a while now.
Somehow I never did anything about it though.
I just filled out an application with glide to be a Community Health Outreach Worker.
Not sure if they will take me with my busy schedule but hey! I did it. Fist step. If they don't want me I will try elsewhere.

I haven't heard back from Glide yet but it looks like the Aids Foundations Needle Exchange program wants me. Neato!
I just realized that it actually hasn't been ages since I volunteered. Just last year I worked the San Francisco Sex Information's Hotline but somehow that never really did it for me - too many wankers and too much internal drama. Their sex educator training on the other hand was AMAZING. I recommend it. -
